SETTLEMENT DESCRIPTION
BALUD One of three villages inside the Enclave of the T'Kel. Its town council is called "the Quorum of the Eleven." It has been completely abandoned with all the T'Kel now inhabiting Divinty.[MAP]
 
FORWARD ADVANCE Commonly known as "the Advance," this is the Temple of Heironeous beyond the borders of the Sunterran Federation, where Domaldi was born. Despite its importance to the history of the Sunterranse Federation, it strives to remains politically neutral, focussing instead on the martial and religious duties of its acolytes.
 
GRIAL The largest of the three villages of the Enclave of the T'Kel. It is where the T'Kel hold their annul harvest Fair Day. It has been completely abandoned with all the T'Kel now inhabiting Divinty.[MAP]
 
GRIZZLED SCALE TERRITORIES The territories of the Lonesome Vast claimed by the Grizzled Scale Lizardmen tribe. They border the Federation province of Bithtal near Göesse thorpe. They claim the territories of the Darkened Swamp as well asthose disputed lands opened to their side of the Lonesome Flow by the Shekinester Oxbow. [MAP]
 
KRIN One of the three villages of the T'kel Enclave. Formerly the home of Janarl. It has been completely abandoned with all the T'Kel now inhabiting Divinty.[MAP][PICTURE]

FEATURES DESCRIPTION
The Darkened Swamp The Lizardfolk name for a portion of the Lonesome Vast around the Lonesome Flow and the Shekinester oxbow, where it blends with the Morastweld Stand. Also know to them as "Where Lizards Weep." It straddles the border of Bithal Province in the Sunterran Federation and the Wasted Sea. [MAP]
The Devourer
This is the site featured in the map Domaldi's father recovered from the trolls in the Caves of Göesse. It is an ancient Durgoshii power site, east of Lake Dakar, deep inside the Darkened Swamp in the Wasted Sea. It is detailed in the journal of Besth the Hobbitish researcher. The site itself seems haunted by an ancient and unspeakable evil. It was built by Durgoshii Giants from the Last City, Dröss Jämmerlich, not long after a year of great cataclysms. The site seems to be both a complex torture chamber that ammasses "pain" and a massive weapon. A fresco inside depicts some of its history, and the Companions discovered texts within that also shed some light on its past. [MAP]
The Enclave of the T'kel On the Southeastern shore of Lake Dakar, near the Wall of the Righteous, the Enclave is the small area of the Wasted Sea that is home to the three villages of the T'kel. [MAP]
Folha's Grove An ancient grove of sturdy oak erected around a sacred barrow in the middle of the Darkened Swamp inhabited by the Dryad Folha. She was trapped here by an ancient order of Druids to help transform the grove into a power site, known as the Devourer. The grove stands outside an ancient giantish underground temple. [MAP]
Fort Tcyz (GT) A small Heironean outpost a day's march from Forward Advance along the road to Riot's Gate.
The Lonesome Flow The River that runs through the Lonesome vast and roughly delineates the boundary between the Federation and the Lizardfolk tribes of the Lonesome Vast. [MAP]
The Lonsesome Vast A swampy stretch of the Wasted Sea near the border with Bithal Province, on the shores of Lake Dakar. [MAP]
Lost Temple of Sss'Raast
Several miles from Göesse, by boat and through the dense marshlands of the Lonesome Vast, this is an abandoned temple of the dead religious confederation of the scalyfolk, the Sss'Raast. In this particular temple, the Yuan-ti motif seems to dominate. Known to the T'Kel as the Tempiss Liassi. [MAP]
Massoud’s Drift (GT) A high point ni the Wasted Sea several miles away from Forward Advance that gently slopes upwards from the camp on the road to Riot's Gate.
Morin Pass (GT) A steep, deep and craggy ravine in the Wasted Sea east of Forward Advance. It floods in the Spring, but is generally dry most of the rest of the season and used as a natural pass into Bithal the rest of the year.
Scali Dakur In High Elven, this translates to the “Scales of Dakar.” These are the mountains of the Wasted Sea.
Shekinester Oxbow Also known as the Knee of Shekinester, this oxbow carves into the cliffs above the Saltwater Barrows, north of the Lonesome Flow and confuses the border between Bithal and the Old Serpant Suzerainty. [MAP]
Shrine of Zuras A shrine and monestary dedicated to the T'Kel, Zuras, who brought the blessings of civilization to his race, it lies at the centre of the Enclave and presided over by a monasic order, the Order of the Claw. [DESCRIPTION]

DENIZENS DESCRIPTION
Besth (?) (SG-13) A Hobbitish adventurer with the skills and contacts of a master researcher. Hired by someone she refers to only as "the Client," in Sunfalls, she appears to have been the author of the mysterious map discovered by Domaldi's father in the Caves of Göesse. Judging from her increasingly disturbed journal entries, and the trail of bodies, her expedition to map the way to and through the ancient Durgoshii power site known as the Devourer appears to have failed. It is unknown whether she yet lives, let alone escaped from the Devourer, but it would seem that she lost her hand. She hired Sally the Necromancer, Gurghur the Dwarf and Thom Glass, a Cleric of Erythnuul, to assist her in her task.
Biabon (Dead) (Sj1) A dead adventurer associated with the weapon Woodclaw. An associate of Cotel, Firth and Limbis. Perished in the Devourer.
Boram (GT) A Dwarven knight at Forward Advance. He is the regular commander of Alexi Company.
Boslin (GT) An old Heironean Knight. The Commanding Legate of Forward Advance.
Cotel (Dead) (Sj1) A dead adventurer associated with the weapon Woodclaw. An associate of Biabon, Firth and Limbis. Perished in the Devourer. The master of the creature that would become the monstrous Garasoth.
Domano (GT) A troop leader with Alexi Company at Forward Advance.
Firth (Dead) (Sj1) A dead adventurer associated with the weapon Woodclaw. Her research uncovered the powerful weapon. An associate of Cotel, Biabon and Limbis. Perished in the Devourer.
Folha
(9) A Dryad who lives in the oaks of an ancient power site near the mouth of a dungeon north of the Lonesome Flow and east of Göesse, beyond Where Lizards Weep. She appears to be an achingly beautiful woman with skin the colour of autumn leaves, with slender hands and hazlenut lips. She smells of flower petals and loam.
Gahir (Dead) (SG-12) One of the praetorian guardsman if the High Inquisitor of Heironeous, Lokiyar who tracked Domaldi and his companions to the Devourer. He was transformed into a vampire spawn by the vampire, Inigo Tarrega, and then killed by the Companions at the Lost Temple of Sss'Raast. He liked the colour blue and his father never told him he loved him. :o(
Garasoth (Dead) (SG-9) The name Folha the dryad used to command the great boar-shaped twist of bramble and thorn that violently attacked the Companions at the foot of her barrow grove.
Glass, Thom (Dead) (SG-10) A cleric of Erythnuul recruited by Gurghur and hired by Besth in Cauldron to help her company explore the ancient Durgoshii power site known as "the Devourer." According to Besth's journal he died soon after Besth's team entered the site. The party later battled his reanimated corpse along with a corrupted water elemental.
Granitefingers, Vladic (17) One of the Dirty Half Dozen. Captured for looting the still smoldering ruins of the Temple of Heironeous in Riot's Gate immediately following the Doom's Eye Eclipse. He pulled the trigger on the explosives that brought the mountain down on the innocent prisoners below. He escaped after driving Victor Franco into unconsciousness and ended up joining the 91st Sunfalls Regiment.
Granth, Arur (B) The former Commander of the Dwarven contingent that took the lead in rebuilding the Forward Advance as an outpost of the Sunterranse Federation in the Wasted Sea, used to monitor the activities of the Monotheocrate Order and the remnants of the Serpant Suzerainty. He has retired to the small farming village that supports the Forward Advance, where he works as a smithy and building contractor.
Grummond (GT) The Heironean Knight Commander of Ft. Tcyz.
Gurghur (Dead)
(10) A Dwarven fighter hired in Riot's Gate by the hobbitish researcher, Besth , to help her company explore the ancient Durgoshii power site known as "the Devourer." According to Besth's journal he died soon after Besth's team entered the site. The party later battled his reanimated corpse along with a swarm of bloodbloaters. Calloused and cynical, he had many debts.
Kausat, King (SG-8) The lawful Lizardman king of a tribe in the Lonesome Vast. He passed judgement on Inigo after the duelist cut down two lizardmen trying to aid a third to escape. Though the tribes laws and its counsel of elders called for Inigo's death, because Kausat did not want to invite long term trouble with the humans and decided, he intervened at the last moment to make Inigo a slave. In light of recent strange events, Inigo offerred his services instead, to discover and destroy the strange force that had recently begun haunting the nights. Kausat ensured Inigo would keep his promise by invoking the lizardfolk god, Semuanya, and having his shaman cast a powerful gease upon the duelist.
Limbis (Dead) (Sj1) A dead adventurer associated with the weapon Woodclaw. An associate of Biabon, Firth and Cotel. Perished in the Devourer.
Lucinda (GT) A spell caster with Alexi Company at Forward Advance.
Qalati (Dead) (Sj1) A legendary Elven weaponsmith associated with the creation of the weapon Woodclaw.
Rwatlin (GT) A half-handed Dwarven centurion with Alexi Company at Forward Advance. He wields an axe. He was terribly wounded during the rescue of the 91st Sunfells Regiment.
Sally (Dead)
(11) A Goblin necromancer, and formerly an acquaintance of the hobbitish researcher, Besth. Sally was the first companion Besth took on to help her explore the ancient Durgoshii power site known as "the Devourer." Sally and Besth survived initial entry of the dungeon, but, according to Besth's journal they soon began to descend into madness. She battled the party and died at their hands.
S'trassk (9) A Lizardman Huntwarden who warned the party about the dangers that lie in a forbidden patch of land known to his tribe as "Where Lizards Weep." He was motivated to do so by Tiberio's haunting rendition of a Lizardman song he remembered.
Tasha (GT) A scout with Alexi Company at Forward Advance.
Teung, Legionnaire (GT) A Sunterran Legionnaire originally of Hankuan extraction. of the B Company Scouts with the 91st Sunfalls Legion. His heroism was critical in ensuring the safe arrival of the Legion at Forward Advance.
That Which Stalks the Night (Undead) (SG-8) An unnatural force that had begun hunting the Lonesome Vast since it was awakened from within the Lost Temple of Sss'Raast , it was actually a Yuan-ti Vampire Abomination. It transformed the fallen hero, Inigo Tarrega, into a vampire.
Twerg (GT) A scout with Alexi Company at Forward Advance.
Lord Varuss (Dead) (B-Domaldi) A noble General of the Monotheocrate Order, he was the commander of Pilus Aquiifer's doomed expedition against a perceived re-emerging threat from the Serpent Suzerainty. The expedition devestated the already struggling serpentine races of the Wasted Sea.
Vinix (GT) A Heironean Knight. An officer at Forward Advance. Currently the Paymaster and guardian of the old vaults.
Wolheim, Gunther (13) A childhood friend of Domaldi. When he learned that Domaldi was being sought out for heresy and other crimes, Gunther, believing his friend to be wrongly accused, set out from Forward Advance along with Lokiyar, the High Inquisitor of Heironeous. After Lokiyar returned to Göesse with Domaldi's lifeless body and was unable to raise him, loyal Gunther volunteered to return to the Devourer with two knights of Heironeous to search for, and release, the Paladin's soul. He met the party in Folha's Grove after narrowly escaping an encounter with Garasoth. After he departed the party, his travails continued... He is currently stationed at Forward Advance and commands Alexi Company.
Zayda
(14) A woodling elven druid who inhabits a portion of the Lonesome Vast in the Wasted Sea on some lonely vigil. She is known to Folha, who refers to her has "a woodland spirit."

ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIPTION
91st Sunfall Regiment (Gunther / B-Saric) A Sunterran regiment active in the Plains of the Horselords battling the Brute invasion of the Federation. In an act of desperation it sent press gangs to a clan of Dragonborn in the Watcher's Canyon only to be driven away. The Legion was later driven into the Wasted Sea after the Fall of Sunfalls and Bithal Province, its remnants taking were driven by the Brutes to take refuge with the Heironean Knights of Forward Advance. (Notable Elements: B-Company Scouts)
Alexi Company (GT) A haggard Company based in Forward Advance. During the Brute Invasion It has been fighting a rear-guard action since the Fall and have been collecting collapsed units and stragglers ever since. Under Gunther's Command, it rescued the 91st Sunfalls Regiment and the Chieftan of the Sunterran Orcs, Ogram. It is usallly commanded bya dwarf named Boram.
Berin Company (GT) A Company based in Forward Advance.
Campei Company (GT) A Company based in Forward Advance.
Druid Council of Maywind (Sj1) An order of Druids that long protected the wilderness of the area around Bithal. It established Folha's Grove at the site of the Devourer. It is not certain that the order any longer exists.
the Grizzled Scale (8) A tribe of Lizardmen in the Lonesome Vast. They are led by King Kausat.
